What is the shape of the world? Round. Right?

So there will be a line running in the middle. The Equator. And I am going to show you . . .

Ecuador

Ecuador is a country where crazy physics happens. Where tourists can try to walk on the equator and they will fall. When you pour water in the basin, it won't spin clockwise or anti-clockwise, but it will go straight down because of the Coriolis effect. 

 

There is even Mount Chimborazo right in the middle of the equator.

 

Ecuador is not just mountains but also islands. The Galapagos islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean are mostly untouched and there are species you will not find anywhere else in the world.
